The Catano Lab

I am an Assistant Professor at University of California, Riverside. Previously I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Emory University and Michigan State University. My past research has covered the role of plant phytochemistry on host microbiome assembly, restoration of imperiled grasslands and wetlands, and long-erm ecological research spanning plants, fish, and birds throughout North America. I earned my Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, a MS in Biology from the University of Central Florida, and a B.S. in Biology from the University of South Florida.
